IKEA Calgary has a wide range of positions available in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Food Services, Communications & Interior Design, Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing. We have various full-time, part-time, summer, and permanent positions available.

What is your hiring process?

All applications are reviewed by each department's Hiring Manager and successful candidates are contacted and brought in for an interview. After a successful interview, candidates will be brought in for a paid orientation to learn about IKEA and their new position. All co-workers also receive an extensive training with a training buddy in their first two weeks of employment.

We certify all necessary training in-house (i.e., First Aid, Forklift licensing, etc…), and we hire co-workers from all educational backgrounds.

How old does someone have to be to work for your company?

The minimum age for our co-workers is 18 years old since the hours worked may vary (i.e., late shifts), and some positions (i.e., handling cash, serving alcohol) have a minimum age of 18 years old.

How much will employees get paid?
